Tough Questions. Big Decisions. Changing Relationships.

The youth ministries of St. Luke’s create an environment where students realize they belong to a God Who designed them, knows them, passionately loves them, and redeems them. By connecting their spiritual and social lives, pre-teens and teenagers are equipped to stand strong in their relationships, confront struggles with confidence, and transform their lives through faith.

St. Luke’s recognizes that the needs of pre-teens and teenagers are diverse.  To cover the full spectrum of developmental needs, three youth groups exist:

  • LOL Rock - 5th and 6th Graders
  • JAM - 7th and 8th Graders
  • Youth INC - 9th through 12th Graders

In 2001, I came to St. Luke’s as an intern and then received a Call to serve as Director of Christian Education. My role is to support and coordinate educational ministries for children, youth, parents and adults. This midwestern girl attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska to earn DCE certification. My husband, Scott, is a pastor on staff at St. Luke’s.

Believe it or not? I was raised in Iowa on a small farm.
