Connecting with Christ & Community
This Week's Challenge: connect, converse and confront people with the power and love of Jesus Christ. Here's our concluding connection challenge for Life Unleashed - slow, steady, but sure intentional engagement with our culture learning as we go how to connect, converse and confront people with the power and love of Jesus Christ. In case you forgot, or didn't know, within 250 years after Paul's life true gospel, Christianity had swept the known world and reshaped its culture. God's plan hasn't changed! It's our turn to unleash life by connecting, conversing, and confronting those around us with the Good News about Jesus.
Today we start a summer series where we'll meet five people who learned to live life unleashed. (Acts 17:16-34, Matthew 28:16-20)
Kids of HOPE Food Collection
Each summer Kids of HOPE provides lunches for children who usually receive lunch through school in the Free and Reduced Lunch program. Because many of these children prepare the meals on their own, donations need to be individual serving size, ready-made items such as mac-n-cheese, soups, mini-pasta cans, cereal/oatmeal, granola bars, shelf-stable milk, and fruit cups. Low-sugar items are appreciated. Donations can be left in the white collection bins at the exits through June 26th. Contact Laura Hall with any questions: email@example.com.
